Garrett Goldsberry (Chief Instructor)

Garrett started his martial arts training at the age of 5 years old in Okinawan Shorin Ryu Shorikan. Garrett has since expanded his training to other arts such as Muay Thai, Akido, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Through his training he has earned a 2nd degree black belt in Karate Do, a 1st degree black belt in Kobudo under Renshi Gene Corbo, and is currently a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under George Sernack (Renzo Gracie Black belt). As a competitor Garrett has medaled on State, National, and Junior Olympic levels. In addition his students have competed with much success in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/ Submission Grappling competitions. Currently, he is a licensed corner man who manages both amateur and pro MMA fighters. He is a 2008 martial arts consultant for the SCCC criminal jusitce program. And is also working on being the consultant for a couple local police departments.
Dan Arthur (Assistant Instructor)

Dan Arthur started in martial arts at age 11. He is a second degree black belt in Isshin-Ryu Karate. Dan has held national and world titles in Isshin-ryu karate. He is also a member of the Isshin-ryu hall of fame. Dan started teaching children’s karate classes when he was the young age of 14 years old. In 2008 Dan started his amateur kickboxing career. To date he has an amateur kickboxing record of 2-0 with one win coming by way of TKO. Dan has also earned a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is actively competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing tournaments. You can see Dan on the mats teaching Kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu classes.
